Thomas Jay McLin

Thomas Jay McLin, 80, of Lafayette passed away at 6:50 pm Tuesday April 12,2022 at Franciscan
Health Hospital in Lafayette. He was born October 29,1941 in Lafayette to the late Orville and Ruth
Klein McLin. Thomas graduated from high school and was a general mechanic at Alcoa in Lafayette, he
was a member of the Eagles and the Alcoa retirees’ group. Tom loved to attend his granddaughter’s
softball games, working in his garage, playing with his great-grandchildren. He also loved to give advice
to his grandson.
Tom married Georganne Williams on August 31,1992; she survives. Also surviving are four children, 9
grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by one
granddaughter.
Private family services will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens funeral chapel.
