Susie was a very loved person. We both worked at KMart West side. Everyone loved her. I am sure she went to Heaven. She didn’t have a mean bone in her. You couldn’t help but love her. I am so sorry for her family. She will be missed.
Susan Lynn Kaelin, 68 of Lafayette passed away Wednesday June 22,2022 at Majestic Care in Lafayette. She was born in Lafayette February 24,1954 to the late William J. and Betty J. Yost Kaelin. She was a 1972 graduate of Rossville High School. She worked for K-Mart in West Lafayette and later worked in bookkeeping at Bob Rohrman Toyota until her retirement. Susan loved camping, crafting, reading, shopping and traveling. She enjoyed spending time on the beach.
Surviving are her sisters Deborah Luper of Lafayette, Becky Kaelin of Lafayette, Michelle Lancaster of West Lafayette and a sister-in-law Carla Kaelin of Waveland,IN, lots of nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill “William” Kaelin Jr. She was a beloved aunt who was dearly loved by her nephews and nieces and her many great friends. Susan was one who always made sure her family were always cared for.
There will be private family interment with a celebration of her life at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Tippecanoe Funeral & Cremation Services is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
