Shirley Ann Kongpricha

On Dec. 1, 2020 Shirley Ann Kongpricha (nee Harris), loving wife, mother, grandmother, and
great grandmother passed away at the age of 85. Shirley was born Dec. 18, 1934 in Renssalaer, IN to
George and June Harris. She worked in healthcare her whole life and ended her career at the Joliet
Terrace in Joliet, IL where she resided for most of her life till the end. She always made sure the family
was taken care of and would do anything to help anyone.
She is survived by her husband of 61 yrs. Santad “Sam” Kongpricha; her daughters Kathy “Susie”
Kongpricha, Liz Tavares, Kim (Liz) Kongpricha; her grandchildren Elaina (Darnell) Terrell, Kelly Drumond,
Angela Fox, Manuel Tavares, Daisy Tavares, Michelle Kongpricha, Anastasia Dragatsis, Erika
Hoopingarner, Sean (Tina) Emmons, Dana Emmons, Ed Wesson, Sonny Orndorff, Juan Barron Jr., Brandy
Barron; her great-grandchildren Andrew (Alyssa), Nick, Darnell Jr., Liz, Aiden, Jasmine, Adrian, Micaella,
Gabrielle, Juan Jr., Jessica, Xavier, Ocean, Mason, Brittanie, Adonis, Emilio, Joey, Tyler, James, River,
Chase, Lizzy, Kaylee, Dakota, Anthony, Marie; a host of great-great-grandchildren and relatives.
Shirley was preceded in death by her sister Helen Hartlep; her daughters Janet Kay Davis, Vicky
(Juan) Barron; grand-daughter Stacy Abernathy and nephew William “Butch” Dottle.
Funeral services will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens 1718 W. 350 N, West Lafayette, IN
on Friday Dec. 11, 2020 at 1pm-5pm EST with interment immediately following.
