George William Mitton

George William Mitton, 89 of rural Lafayette, passed away at his residence at 8:35 pm Friday February 16,2024. He was born in Kramer, in Warren County on March 4,1934 to the late David Elmer and Ruby Jernagan Mitton. He worked at various jobs in the Lafayette area. He was preceded in death by his wife.
He enjoyed watching wrestling and dirt track racing. He enjoyed bowling with family and friends. He is survived by his children Jamie (Tarral) Mitton of rural Lafayette, Brenda (Michael) Reece of Attica, and Robin Horton of Lafayette, over 20 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are being planned for a future date at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette, IN.
