Alberta Heckathorn-Yike-Scofield, age 82, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
She was born on August 15, 1941, to Eddie and Lorraine Heckathorn. Alberta was beloved by all who knew her, and she had a passion for flowers and gardening.
She was also known for her culinary talents and was admired for her delicious fudge, fruit salad, and homemade noodles. Alberta will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
Alberta is survived by daughter, Anna Hileman (Bill); son, Ron (Cindy) Yike; and stepson Butch Yike; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, five sisters, and four brothers.
Alberta was preceded in death by stepdaughter Judy Yike and three brothers.
A celebration of life will be held from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 14th, 2024, at 7487 N. SR. 25 Lucerne, IN, 46950.
